Subeco started in the Winter of 2009 when owner Tim Hyde was shopping in a local retail store and saw an organic shirt with a tiny one color tree on it. He looked down at the price tag and was amazed that the price of that tee was $68. From that point on Tim was focused on creating an environmentally responsible clothing line with creative themed designs influenced by the Green Movement. He promised himself to never charge $80 for a poorly designed shirt just cause it was organic. Just because people want to go green doesn’t mean that they have to wear a poorly designed tree with basic font and pay three times more for it in order to be environmentally responsible.
